"In my considered opinion,
Trinity La Fey’s work represents a passion and conviction for truth,
justice, deep thought, and communication. Trinity speaks to and advocates for
the quiet voice that lives deep in the heart – providing encouragement, urging toward
authenticity, and insisting that the voice know its worth and speak up. The quiet voice of the
heart often holds back from outwardly expressing the joy it takes in experiences, wonder at the
mysteries of existence, grief at reckless acts it doesn’t yet know how to confront.
Reading much of Trinity’s expansive and varied literary work, and observing
her stage presence, be it for a poetry reading or a theater production,
I feel as though my heart has been spoken to and strengthened.
By observing and listening to others who have read her
work and experienced her performances,
I know I am not unique in this.
She is a guardian of the arts, of Earth, and of the real.
I strongly recommend her work to anyone with a beating heart."

There Were Three
"This collection of poetry takes the reader on a journey through emotion, truth, and political art.
I have read past pieces by La Fey. This is the best yet.
Her craft has been building and her raw voice has shined through.
The three different books, “Weird”, “Becoming”, and “Should” complement each other.
Just like the generations before us,
the first book doesn't come without the next and builds on the concepts for the first.
I would recommend reading this collection gradually.
The poetry needs to be digested slowly or the imagery and emotion can get lost.
The world needs this type of voice. I look forward to seeing it on bookshelves soon."
- Alice Porter, Teacher/Mother
"Between these book covers, amidst the flickering lights of inspired quotations
breathes deeply mythical and intensely personal raging resistance against female bondage and erasure.
Bare boned and true. Here is the battle and the battle cry."
"Here, there are threes, effortlessly morphing from the singular to mythic and back again.
Cycling from bottomless well to tree of life and back again.
Norn sisters, we are three and we are infinite and we are imbued with life.
Dear sister, thank you for straight up doing the hard work of connection!"
- Jennifer Murnan, Activist/Grandmother
"I found it deeply personal, and deeply connecting too, to the feminine experience.
Its poetic reality touched generations of sisterhood, sometimes painful, often empowering..."

"This book is never boring! This is one of the most challenging(in a good way) literary works 'I' have read. The range of human emotions are enough to keep the reader busy, let alone the poetry and or rants on most pages. The day to day diary entries do not mince words as regards struggles both internally and externally."
- John Calvin Erickson II, Motorcycle Enthusiast/Writer
"Read this. Beautiful explorations and vivid storytelling"
